Advance readers
Read The God in the Salt before it's out
The God in the Salt comes out on January 12, 2027. Before then, I'm giving free advance copies to readers who enjoy progression fantasy and are happy to tell other readers what they thought.
How it works
- Get the ebook. Advance copies go out through Booksprout, a free site for advance readers, from October 26 until December 26, 2026, or until they run out.
- Read it at your own pace. It's Book One of The God-Eater's Apprentice, a nine-book series.
- Share what you thought, if you'd like. You can post a review on Goodreads any time, or on Amazon from January 12, 2027, when Amazon opens reviews for the book.
A review is entirely optional, and receiving future advance copies does not depend on reviewing or on what you say. If you do write one, whatever rating reflects your experience is the right rating.
Join the advance reader team
Get an email whenever advance copies of a new book are ready, starting with Book Two, The Unlicensed God-Eater. Joining also signs you up for my monthly newsletter.
Amazon only accepts reviews from accounts that have spent at least $50 on Amazon.com in the past 12 months. Goodreads has no such rule.
